Regional U14 Tournament April 2016
This tournament, for the first year was played indoors, guaranteeing that it would be played whatever the weather! The squad, on paper, was strong, but illness took 2 of the players out before we even started! The standard of play was good and it was an experience for all the players. The Squad finished 7th.
Regional U16 Tournament March/April 2016
It was tough, all games were a challenge but then you were a very young team. You worked hard, you never gave up! We finished 9th

Netball\Leighton Buzzard Netball Club\2014\Annual Netball Tournament - Saturday 26th April
U13's finished a very successful morning as Runners Up. They won their group comfortably scoring 43 goals with only 6 goals against. They won the semi final 7-0 but just lost out in the final to MK Netters 2-5. Well played girls and photos will be appearing soon
U16's The Buzzards won their group easily (scoring 44 goals with only 11 against) as did The Eagles (scoring 45 goals with only 8 against) This meant both teams were in the semi final (luckily not against each other) and again came through comfortably, Buzzards winning 8-3 and Eagles winning 12-6.........................which set up the grand Final of Futureprint v Futureprint!! The Eagles won the game after a very closely fought contest, 5-4.
Well played Buzzards U14's in the U16 Tournament!!
Player of the day must go to Holly Winterburn.................she played in the U13's and in the U16 Eagles team....coming home with a SILVER and a GOLD medal!!! Well done Holly!!! (Photos coming soon!!!!)

Duston Tournament 2013 Results
The last tournament of the season saw a total of 23 teams in 3 age groups and 6 of these teams were Futureprint!!! The matches were only 5 mins each way, not a lot of time to get going and unfortunately the U16’s only had 5 games!! It was a chance for all players to finish the season with a low key tournament and to enjoy themselves

National U14 Clubs Tournament 2013

Wow what a baptism of fire the National U14 Clubs Tournament turned out to be!! The coaches knew it was going to be very hard and for our players and that is what it turned out to be from the very first whistle.18 teams were grouped into 6 sections, so we played 2 games in the morning. The 1st game was against Turnford (the eventual finalists) and they were slick!! We lost 10-36 and the girls gave their all in a very hard, physical tough match Our 2nd games against another ‘known’ club in England, Tameside (who eventually came 3rd) was another ‘welcome to this is what netball is really like’ game and we again battled hard but they gave nothing away and we lost 11-30. We were regrouped in the afternoon into a group with a winner from the morning, a 2nd place and us as a 3rd. Our 1st game against Poole we lost 4-29 and against Hull 9-18. So coming away from the 1st day a bit tired(!!!!) a little deflated the team soon recovered after a rest, a motivational talk from Hannah and Julie, a shower and a Frankie and Benny’s!!! And a good night’s sleep refreshed to do battle again. As expected we were placed in Group 5 playing for 13-18 spot (Group 6 also had 3 teams in) Our 1st game against Kent saw us victorious 19-13 with Hannah and Julie barely able to control their emotions. Hannah did threaten to do a dance if the team won a game, I think she was doing this all the way through the game, unable to sit and control her enthusiasm for the girls!! Our 2nd game was very close and with a crucial turn over we lost it 16-20.....this meant that each team in our group had won one and lost one so down to goal average and by the narrowest of margins ( 1.061 to 1.063) we came away 2nd which meant we went into our ‘final’ for 15/16 place against Grangetown. We hammered them..............25-11!!!! To finish on a high with a win and achieving 15th place in England!!!!
Looking back on the tournament, he difference in standard of all the teams there was just amazing
and you don’t realise how good teams are until you play against them....................we were midgets against some of the players who were well over 6 foot tall but seeing our players jump, stretch and fight for every
ball was brilliant. Girls, you did yourselves proud and you now know what we meant by ‘it’s going to be hard’.
You have learnt what Netball is all about and what we need to do to reach anything like the top standard of performance. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped transport, who stayed over and to those who came daily to
watch, you were always supportive, encouraging and happy and a great bunch to have behind the team!!
Thank you to our super scorer Sally who had to concentrate the whole game on the
officials table unable to voice her opinion or shout encouragement. To Hannah, the most excitable, passionate coach on the bench who lost her voice more than once.
To Julie who again organised everything to do with Futureprint’s weekend taking on the responsibility
of officiating the paperwork and still manages not to have her name on the back of the official t-shirt!!
The girls had a great team photograph taken and there were some brilliant action
shots taken and these can all be viewed from Wed on www.takethatphoto.co.uk using the password EN13
The girls also came away with kit bags, hoodies and t-shirts as a memento to their weekend and a BIG THANK YOU to the donors of these items!!!
WELL DONE GIRLS.................A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER!!!!

(photos on Gallery)
It started off in the dry and it finished in the rain........what a surprise!!!! The U12's had 9 matches, winning 4, drawing 2 and losing 3, finishing 5th overall. Well played girls.
The H5's played 4 games which consisted of 4 x 5 mins matches which worked very well and the girls played hard. They followed the H5 rotation after every quarter and they coped very well in the difficult weather conditions.

Cranfield Tournament May 4 2013

U16's lost 2, drew 2 and won 6 and finished 4th overall
Considering the team consisted of U16's, U15's and U14's who had not played together before their performance was commendable! They also got blown away, drenched in the down pours and enjoyed the sunshine when it did come out!! Well Played Team!!
U13's reached the Semi Finals by winning their group
and were never really stretched In the semi final they came up against a very strong team from Manchester who outplayed us in all areas. The Final between Trafford and MK Netters was an excellent display of Netball which went to Golden Goal in favour of MK.
